Prusament Resin Model Color Kit
Prusament Resin Model Color Kit
The Prusament Resin Model Color Kit includes 5 basic colors of resin, that can be easily combined to create almost any color of the spectrum. It consists of cyan (C), magenta (M), yellow (Y), Black (B), and white (W). There is also a whole set of accessories: syringes, pipettes, cups, small bottles, and gloves for easy and safe mixing. Last but not least, we added a sample book with 44 color formulas that serve as a great starting point for mixing your own colors.

Recipe Calculator
To measure the amounts of the color ingredients, you can use the calculator below. The only input you need is the volume or weight of resin for your project, calculated by PrusaSlicer. Then, pick the desired color and the calculator will give you the exact amounts.
Notes
- Make sure you add a little extra to the calculated amount, so the bottom of the resin tank remains fully covered even at the end fo the print. For the Original Prusa SL1S SPEED, the recommended extra amount is 30 ml.
- The color of the 3D-printed object may slightly differ from the color representation on your screen. The colors also don’t exactly match the CMYK color model used by graphic software, etc.
How to use
The whole mixing process is very easy: complete step-by-step guide can be found here. Apart from the Color Kit contents, the only extra equipment you are going to need is common for all resin printing: i.e. just paper towels and isopropyl alcohol.

Safety precautions and manipulation with resin
Before you start using Prusament Resin, don’t forget to read the material safety data sheet (MSDS) uploaded at prusament.com. Here, we sum up only a few tips that might make your life with resin a little easier. ;-)
- Always remember that despite our hardest efforts, all liquid resins still might pose a health risk. Use protective equipment, especially gloves, every time you work with resin. Prevent contact with skin, eyes, and mouth.
- Accidents happen even to the most experienced users. If resin gets on your printer, table, or anything else, don’t wait and clean it immediately with paper towels and isopropyl alcohol (IPA), before it gets cured by the daylight.
- Strangely enough, there is not much information available about waste disposal and recycling 3D printed products. Let’s sum up how we deal with resin waste: Uncured resin leftovers should be disposed of with other dangerous chemicals at places designated for it. It cannot be recycled and definitely should not end in general waste.
The same rule applies to bottles, paper towels, and models stained with liquid (uncured) resin. However, cured resin (reactoplastic material) is, unlike filaments (thermoplastic material), a non-recyclable material - it belongs in the general waste.
