AlbiLab - Variable Scientific Building Kit

The AlbiLAB kit is a unique magnetic construction set that includes everything you need to create your own scientific station. Experiment with optimal conditions for plant growth or create environments that surpass scientists' recommendations. Learn how the light spectrum affects growth, study photosynthesis, and even program your own lighting conditions.

The electronics assembly is fun, intuitive, and modular. You can continuously modify and expand it. Not interested in growing plants? Transform your scientific station into a physics or chemistry lab. AlbiLAB is designed with 3D printing in mind, allowing you to download and print custom accessories. You’ll find all of the AlbiLAB models on Printables.

AlbiLAB kit consists of 2 main components: the electronic part and the growth module. The electronics controls the operation of various devices, sensors, and lighting, while the growth module provides an environment for plant growth.

The kit also includes a scientific journal, in which you will find instructions for your first experiments with plants. The rear page provides space for the creation and records of your own experiments.

The project was created by Albi in collaboration with the Institute of Botany of the Czech Academy of Sciences and Prusa Research.

Because there are a lot of experiments and not all of them fit into the journal, Albi will gradually share more experiments on their website, where you can also find more information about the entire AlbiLAB concept.
