PLA is the most commonly used filament. It is an inexpensive and easy-to-print material, perfect for visual parts, toys, rapid prototypes, and much more. PLA allows the printing of large objects thanks to its low thermal expansion (with minimal warping), but can also render tiny details because of its low melting temperature.
