The AFS is equipped with advanced technologies for autonomous operation, including an automatic arm for print collection. Once a print job is finished, the print sheet along with the finalized product is moved into the smart storage system and a new sheet is placed back onto the printer, so it can resume operation as quickly as possible.

The CoreXY 3D printers in the AFS are compatible with all popular thermoplastics. The V6-compatible nozzles can reach up to 290 °C and the heatbed is capable of reaching 115 °C.
